Greetings, fellow gerbils!
Hey there, it's Gerry here! As you may have gathered, I am a gerbil and this is a blog about my life on this planet. I appear to humans through a machine called the GerbilMaestro, which is an exact copy of my master. I control this machine and most of the time pretend to be my master in front of other humans.
I hope you enjoy reading my blog. Thanks a gerbillion!

Weekly News Round-Up #50: 02/02/2014

Hello and welcome to a brand new edition of Weekly News Round-Up!

To kick off the week, Wicks made an appeal for everyone to tape their 20p's to an envelope and send them to her, so she can pay for the Minecraft server. Naturally, this prompted a round of 'Wicks doesn't have any money!'

To illustrate how 'meh' ANT was feeling on Tuesday, she comes into school and explains that she accidentally used body wash as shampoo and her hair was feeling a little unusual.
Also, she told us about KrazyK's 'shrivelled up mess of a Geography book', which was due to a little accident with cooking ingredients. This left ANT's mother with no choice but to throw out the book, leaving the Grography teacher less than impressed.

PS was rather eventful indeed. ANT had trouble on 'Tiny Tower' trying to find where an evicted bitizen previously lived. Master attempted to conduct a search, however gave up in the end. One good thing did come out of the hour as it happened to be ANT's day when she finally passed level 181 on 'Candy Crush', a barrier that she had been stuck at previously for quite a few weeks.

At lunchtime, Alexis and The Appalling One were being more than annoying by throwing pieces of a plastic fork into Master's lunch. Along with this, there was a large portion of regurgitation jokes.

On Thursday, it came to our attention that The Appalling One often has trouble differentiating between r's and w's. He tried to emphasise the importance of reading, writing and literacy. He dubbed this trio 'The 3 R's'. Oh dear.

This week's lunchtime discussion topic was: popcorn - yay or nay?

Also, in that same lunchtime, ConscienceSarah managed to hit both her knees on the table leg. Not at the same time, of course.

Friday claimed to be a day of 'Flappy Bird'. ANT was very keen on the game, whilst Master was determined not to cave and download the game despite ANT tempting her. Meanwhile, it had a major influence on the lads at lunchtime, who were all there with their phones, competing for a higher score.

Until next week, have a good one :)
