Greetings, fellow gerbils!
Hey there, it's Gerry here! As you may have gathered, I am a gerbil and this is a blog about my life on this planet. I appear to humans through a machine called the GerbilMaestro, which is an exact copy of my master. I control this machine and most of the time pretend to be my master in front of other humans.
I hope you enjoy reading my blog. Thanks a gerbillion!

Mexx Bear is officially back in town!!!

As many of you will know, Mexx went on holiday to the US. You may also know about Hurricane Irene which has caused chaos over the past few days and the days to come in northern US states. I am sure you will be pleased to know that we have heard from Mexx and that she has just arrived back in the UK today!
We hope that the American Gerbils are safe and well ;)

Quote Week: August – Day 7

Note: This post was supposed to be published on Sunday 7th August.

“You’ve just killed another squirrel!”

Story behind quote:
In Maths, Mexx, being such a perfectionist-of-a-bear, had made a slight mistake on her paper, and therefore put her hand up to ask Sir for another one. Therefore Sir had to go and print off another one just for her, and he said to her, “You’ve just killed another squirrel! That squirrel has just lost its home now, all because of you!”

300th post!!! :D

Note: This post was supposed to be published on Sunday 7th August.

Well, can you believe it?! This is officially the 300th post on this blog! Thank you for all your continuous support, I couldn't have asked for better readers!

Quote Week: August – Day 6

Note: This post was supposed to be published on Saturday 6th August.

“Lol at Goddard encouraging people!”

Story behind quote:
On Enterprise Day, Goddard was being very encouraging to our customers of our tombola. It was most amusing watching him being awfully friendly and persuasive! A side of the Goddard that we never see…

Quote Week: August – Day 5

Note: This post was supposed to be published on Friday 5th August.

“I think they should start a band called Goddard and Co.”

Story behind quote:
As mentioned before, Goddard was at the annual Academy Picnic. Half way through the event, he decided to form a trio with two other legends, Chester and Bennett. They had a guitar each and sang a load of hits by John Lennon and stuff. It was pretty epic, one must admit.

Quote Week: August – Day 4

Note: This post was supposed to be published on Thursday 4th August.

“It’s great watching him come back here every 5 minutes!”

Story behind quote:
At the annual Enterprise Day at Nasha Academy, Master’s form ran a tombola. There was this one guy who would keep coming back to have another go and try to win a prize. It was great watching him walk around for a bit, look over, go to the stall next to us and then finally come and ask, ‘Can I have another go, please?’

Quote Week: August – Day 3

Note: This post was supposed to be published on Wednesday 3rd August.

“Who else is gonna do impressions of Mexx and annoy her with me when you’re gone?!”

Story behind quote:
As you may know, Master and I took a rather long break, hence the huge gap of time where this blog was not updated. However, she had to miss the last week of term at the Academy. In her last Maths lesson, Nasha, who sits next to Master, said, “Who else is gonna do impressions of Mexx and annoy her with me when you’re gone?!” Usually they would make fun of Mexx about her being a bear, etc.

Quote Week: August – Day 2

Note: This post was supposed to be published on Tuesday 2nd August.

“Or it could just be Goddard in the distance!”

Story behind quote:
At the annual picnic at Nasha Academy, the Beckster, ArwaChihuahua and Master saw Goddard there in an epic music symbol tie and waistcoat! However, from afar it made him look like a policeman. Later on, we thought we could see police in the distance and started wondering why they would be there, but then Master suggested, “Or it could just be Goddard in the distance!”

Quote Week: August – Day 1

Note, This post was supposed to be published on Monday 1st August.

“Army Bear, cadet!”

Story behind quote:
Mexx was performing in a concert along with Nasha and Master at the Academy’s annual picnic. Mexx and Nasha were dancing, and their costumes consisted of military boots, a camouflage bandana and two streaks of war paint on their faces. Here, we witnessed the birth of another, yes another, new name for Mexx: Army Bear! Now, every time Master and Mexx greet eachother, they salute and shout, “Army Bear, cadet!”
