Greetings, fellow gerbils!
Hey there, it's Gerry here! As you may have gathered, I am a gerbil and this is a blog about my life on this planet. I appear to humans through a machine called the GerbilMaestro, which is an exact copy of my master. I control this machine and most of the time pretend to be my master in front of other humans.
I hope you enjoy reading my blog. Thanks a gerbillion!

MouseMouseMonday #26: Master's Movie Marathon

Hey peeps!

So, we haven't had a post in a while mainly because it's been pretty quiet here and also Master's been on holiday. However, on the plane journey back home, Master managed to watch a few movies, so we're gonna do some mini-reviews on them right now!

1. Beautiful Creatures
Based on the popular teen series, this film was released around February this year. I haven't read the book, but the storyline in the movie is pretty easy to follow. I liked the historical reference to the American Civil War and also the characters' Southern accents! Take a look at the trailer:

Rating: PG-13

2. G.I. Joe: Retaliation
I just loved the action in this film. Even though the plot in the first half was unclear to me (mainly because I haven't seen the first film and I wasn't paying too much attention at that point), I got the main plot-line. Also, if you've seen this, how crazy awesome is General Joe Colton's kitchen?! Here's the trailer:

Rating: PG-13

3. Jack the Giant Slayer
An interesting take on a classic fairytale. As a kid, I thought the tale just ended with Jack cutting down the bean stalk, but apparently not, according to this. The characters were likeable, with some elements of humour, and the special effects were very good. Check out the trailer:

Rating: PG-13

4. Gangster Squad
And to end with my favourite one out of the 4, I loved the whole setting of this, the action sequences were top notch and the characters were brilliant. It really had me on the edge of my seat the whole way through, eager to find out what happens in the end.
