Greetings, fellow gerbils!
Hey there, it's Gerry here! As you may have gathered, I am a gerbil and this is a blog about my life on this planet. I appear to humans through a machine called the GerbilMaestro, which is an exact copy of my master. I control this machine and most of the time pretend to be my master in front of other humans.
I hope you enjoy reading my blog. Thanks a gerbillion!

Weekly News Round-Up #53: 02/03/2014

Hey everyone! Hope you're all well and ready for this week's installment of WNR! Let's get started...

After a week off, Wicks returned on Monday after battling with a computer virus over the weekend. It happened that the anti-virus software was simply not picking up anything...

Wadz also had some trouble on the way home that day due to her boots, which she claimed it felt like there were sharks biting at her feet. Oh dear.

On Tuesday, ConscienceSarah received her prize for a raffle she entered. It came in the form of a Scruffs bag (for those unfamiliar with Scruffs, it is a hair studio) and included a shampoo for men and some incense.

I think it is arguable that the main feature of the week has been clapping at people for saying obvious things. And when we say clapping, we mean that everyone on our table gives a standing ovation. It's often nothing less than embarrassing and annoying for the victim, shall we call them. It happened that on Thursday lunchtime, we did this at least 6 times. Clearly this is becoming a big thing over here, even though I can never be sure if it's a good or bad thing...we'll see.

In that same lunchtime, Ruby found that she could make remarkably accurate wolf and whale sound effects using her juice bottle. Meanwhile, Master decided that she would be Mickey Mouse for a split second.

On Friday, Wicks and Master were inspired by the Business Department to make blog-themed crosswords. Why not have a go by clicking the following links:

To end the week, Ruby shared with us an important message that was on her pack of animal biscuits. Take a look:

And on that note, until next week, have a good one ;p
