Greetings, fellow gerbils!
Hey there, it's Gerry here! As you may have gathered, I am a gerbil and this is a blog about my life on this planet. I appear to humans through a machine called the GerbilMaestro, which is an exact copy of my master. I control this machine and most of the time pretend to be my master in front of other humans.
I hope you enjoy reading my blog. Thanks a gerbillion!

Weekly News Round-Up #54: 09/03/2014

Hello everyone! Hope you're all well and let's jump into this edition of WNR...

This week has proved to be revolutionary in terms of mobile gaming for ANT and Master. It all started on Monday when Wicks whipped out her handheld device at breaktime and proceeded to wake her animals on Disco Zoo. Naturally, she recommended it to ANT and Master, reknowned for being the most competitive mobile gamers. On the next day, they both downloaded the game and started at the same time, of course, so it was a fair competition. I think it is fair to say that they were both addicted within the first 5 minutes. We'll see how this progresses in the coming weeks...

During the middle of the week, Alexis, ANT, ShoeLobber and Master sat down, in the afternoon, to discuss the possibility of starting some new clubs. As a group, we suggested activities such as bird watching, wildlife observation/conservation and orienteering. ANT thought that it would be convenient if the clues for orienteering were uber-obvious and always led you home.

Later on that afternoon, we had an exclusive insight into how Alexis styles his hair. It was revealed that his daily routine consists of aiming hairspray at the roots of the hair and then following up with moulding cream.
Afterwards, we entertained ourselves with the idea of Alexis becoming a YouTube beauty guru. He is such a fitting candidate, with his extensive internet knowledge, especially with the significant lack of male style gurus. All in all, he remained unconvinced.

The main lunchtime sport this week has been competitive bottle cap flicking. ANT was, as always, unimpressed, which made her an obvious target. Meanwhile, DisneyLoverMolly and the Voice of reason were both perfecting their technique. Overall, it was a blast!

Until next week, have a good one ;)
