Greetings, fellow gerbils!
Hey there, it's Gerry here! As you may have gathered, I am a gerbil and this is a blog about my life on this planet. I appear to humans through a machine called the GerbilMaestro, which is an exact copy of my master. I control this machine and most of the time pretend to be my master in front of other humans.
I hope you enjoy reading my blog. Thanks a gerbillion!

Weekly News Round-Up #60: 04/05/2014

Hello, one and all! I hope you've all had a fantastic week, ours has been pretty busy with exam season catching up to us. But, nevertheless, there was still time for fun. Let's recount some of those highlights...

Near the beginning of the week, DisneyLoverMolly initiated the bottle game, where players slide a bottle to eachother across the table. The aim is the slide without the bottle toppling over. This did escalate rather rapidly, with the slides becoming more and more forceful until contestants dropped out one by one. All in all, it was fun while it lasted :)

In other game news, Wicks introduced Master to a slight variation of the popular primary school aural activity, 'Simon Says'. This new version features not one, but two people 'saying' commands. It just so happens that we have the most fitting people to use as examples: Simon Wicks and ConscienceSarah. Both Simon and Sharah will be giving commands. If it's Simon, you just go with the standard game protocol. Meanwhile, if it's Sharah, you do the opposite of the usual. Let's summarise:
In the event of:
 - Simon saying a command that starts with 'Simon says...' = players perform command
 - Simon saying a command that does not start with 'Simon says...' = players ignore command
 - Sharah saying a command that starts with 'Sharah says...' = players ignore command
 - Sharah saying a command that does not start with 'Sharah says...' = players perform command

Indeed, it is definitely a game to test your concentration...

Wednesday saw ConscienceSarah arriving, in the morning, in a state of confusion. She claimed to have heard a backwards doorbell (described as a 'dong ding', instead of the conventional 'ding dong') when she shut her front door. How curious...

[Remember, honey badgers are vey smart animals. Could it be possible that they have acquired enough knowledge to tinker with Sharah's doorbell?]

To end what seems to have been a very Sharah week, we'll leave you with this masterpiece:
'Sharah', by Oscar.
Created in 'Paint'.
Photographed by Simon Wicks, via Snapchat on Master's iPod 'HECTOR'.

Also, May the Fourth be with you.

Until next week, have a good one ;)
