Greetings, fellow gerbils!
Hey there, it's Gerry here! As you may have gathered, I am a gerbil and this is a blog about my life on this planet. I appear to humans through a machine called the GerbilMaestro, which is an exact copy of my master. I control this machine and most of the time pretend to be my master in front of other humans.
I hope you enjoy reading my blog. Thanks a gerbillion!

Weekly News Round-Up #62: 22/06/2014 - Study Leave Catch-Up

Hey there, everyone! Hope you've all been well.

Since we haven't had a WNR in quite a few weeks, we thought this would be a good opportunity to catch you up with a few of the best moments in the duration of the hiatus...

During exam season, Wicks settled on a new pre-exam ritual, which has been dubbed as the 'Panic Wee'. This has also been adopted by many others in these times of stress.

In other news, we played around with The Appalling One's original LARP name, Edmund Kinghorn. We found out about the origins of the name 'Kinghorn', and also decided that 'Edmund' should be changed to either 'Nedmund' or 'Nedgar'.

On the topic of LARPing, Master considered creating a half-human half-badger character. When toying with the idea, she came up with this drawing...

Illustrated by Master
All attention soon moved on to Alexis, as people commented about how he's always on top of the latest technology. At one point, we were pretty sure that their family would all be hooked up to Google Glass by Christmas.

After many months of discussion, we've finally sorted ourselves out as to how we're gonna take Podcaasting forward. With the idea of a revival, we set out on Thursday 19th June to record the first video in the new scheme of 'Podcaasting 2.0'. The recording session was successful, but when it was time to say farewell, Master made a typing mistake, which Wicks found most amusing! Master had written 'buy guys' instead of 'bye guys'. This reminded Wicks of the Team Business nature of things and, deciding that it was such a spectacular fail, she illustrated the scenario...

Master found the drawing so funny that it's been decided that the newest Perfect Sandwiches motto shall be "buy buy, sell sell", even though it is hardly relevant to our organisation.

On Friday this week, we had a slightly different event going on at lunchtime. After a round of fish and chips, Wicks thought that it would be fun to jazz up the polystyrene lunch boxes. She decided to write down the lyrics to Queen's Bohemian Rhapsody, including the section that makes Ruby want to cry. Later on, ANT and Master joined in, with ANT drawing a rainbow, and then promptly binning it, whilst Master worked on a puzzle design. Here's the two that weren't binned before the camera came out.

So there you have it, this should bring y'all up to speed with some of the funniest moments.

Until next week, have a good one :)
