Not an awful lot to say this week, but here it is...
Due to Wadz
and ANT's ongoing conflict about shoelaces, Wadz has developed a new way
of shaming someone. It shares the same principle as being 'bushed'
(pushed into a bush) or 'snowed' (falling into snow), so we present to
you...'shoe-ed'! Whenever someone's shoelace is undone, Wadz has decided
that she will point at them (most likely to be ANT) and shout,
'absolutely shoe-ed'!
Tuesday saw a rather interesting topic
being discussed. It seems to be an issue, especially to Wicks, that she
finds people asking her if they are in her way. Even if they are in your
way, you always answer, 'no, of course not!' because in that moment
you're caught off guard and just selflessly dismiss your own needs. It
even happens in supermarkets when the shop assisstant asks you, but you
end up helping them instead of it being them who should help you! Who
else has experienced this?
As many will know, this week has seen
most people doing their final Language assessment. Whilst Ruby was
revising, she made the mistake of asking Wicks, ANT and Master to test
her on some possible questions. The three took it upon themselves to
come up with the most irrelevant and absurd questions to ask. Here are a
few examples:
"What is the colour of your uncle's car?"
"Describe in detail the traditional clothing of Somalia."
"What is the capital of Uganda?"
"What is the meaning of life? Leave your answer in surd form."
If you thought that last one was asked by ANT, you're correct :)
I
think it is fair to say that one of the funniest things that happened
this week has got to be when ArwaChihuahua spilt yogurt on herself,
which did leave quite a noticeable stain. It seems that she doesn't even
need Wicks to do it for her anymore ;p
In their German lesson,
ANT, ShoeLobber and Master were set the grand task of writing a poem (in
German, of course). They came up with an Easter poem of sorts, but the
real fun came when they were writing it up. ShoeLobber had decided that
they were going to write it so that the letters would alternate between
red and blue. So, to speed up te process, they developed quite a system
were Master would switch the pens and ShoeLobber would write. It was
truly something incredible if you'd ever seen it :)
It appears
that Wadz and ANT have had quite a few disagreements this week, almost
enough to rival ArwaChihuahua and Wicks. On the way back home on
Thursday, they managed to have two separate arguments on the same road!
Now that's a record to beat.
The first argument was about Wadz's
sofa. The second was about Wadz's running habits. It should be noted
that these seemingly trivial topics caused them both to be shouting at
the tops of their voices. Deary me...
But here we have the topic of the week...
Druids don't eat eggs (or cake for that matter).
It was also decided that that was one of the main reasons why Morgana and Mordred (from Merlin) were never happy with their lives; because they couldn't have birthday cake!
On a side note, has anyone, apart from Wicks, heard of egg rolling? We'll leave you with some homework if you don't know what it is ;)
Until next week, have a good one :)

Greetings, fellow gerbils!
Hey there, it's Gerry here! As you may have gathered, I am a gerbil and this is a blog about my life on this planet. I appear to humans through a machine called the GerbilMaestro, which is an exact copy of my master. I control this machine and most of the time pretend to be my master in front of other humans.
I hope you enjoy reading my blog. Thanks a gerbillion!
