"Where is the salt?"
- A.T.
Story behind quote:
At lunchtime, ANT had a packet of 'Salt 'n' Shake' crisps, however she could not find the sachet of salt anywhere inside the packet, so she had to just eat her crisps saltless.

Greetings, fellow gerbils!
Hey there, it's Gerry here! As you may have gathered, I am a gerbil and this is a blog about my life on this planet. I appear to humans through a machine called the GerbilMaestro, which is an exact copy of my master. I control this machine and most of the time pretend to be my master in front of other humans.
I hope you enjoy reading my blog. Thanks a gerbillion!

Following up from yesterday's quote, after being told that snails would not become slugs as their organs are inside the shell, ANT's response was, "It might as well be!" Oh ANT ;p

Weekly News Round-Up #5: 21/10/2012
This week has been more eventful than usual, I must admit.
The week was kicked off with a couple of exams and tests (oh what joy) with more tests to come next week (even more fun). [Notice the sarcasm in the brackets.]
But onto brighter events, it was Wadz's birthday on Wednesday! I hope she had an amazing day :) The Beckster, once again, exhibited her absolutely awesome baking skills by providing a rainbow cake. For those who weren't there, let me describe it to you: 6 different coloured cakes layered on top of eachother wrapped up in a gorgeous buttercream icing, or in other words, heaven! It looked great, it tasted great and it left my hands smelling of sugar the rest of the day. However, one of the downsides of all the sugar was the hyperactivity. Oh dear... ;)
To end the week, Master managed to pronounce the word yacht [which is meant to be pronounced yot, for those who are unsure] wrong. Instead, Master said yakt. Oh dear. Meanwhile, ANT, who was also present at the time, said that that event pretty much (and I quote) 'made her year.' Well, what can I say (no pun intended).
Until next week, have a good one :)
(P.S. I offer my most sincere apologies for all the brackets in this weeks post, I don't know what came over me, but oh well :)

A Quote Week Special, it's gonna be fANTastic!
If you didn't get the hint from the title of this post, Quote Week will be starting tomorrow, but this month, Quote Week will be dedicated to the one and only, ANT! It is not because it is ANT's birthday month or anything particularly, but just because ANT has managed to come up with some top things to say. Hats off to you, ANT mate ;)

Weekly News Round-Up #4: 14/10/2012
Still the same ol' routine this week at Nasha Academy. However, there were definitely some stand-out moments/lunchtimes.
As you may or may not know, Nasha Academy has a wonderful swimming pool, which is used by us (obviously, duh?!) but also by surrounding primary schools. Often, the primary school kids come and swim and are then driven off at lunchtime back to their school. On several occasions, we wave at them when they leave, but they are not always as enthusiastic as we are. There's always one extremely enthusiastic kid, one crazy hyper kid, one that just is the odd one out, and the rest just don't seem bothered. Either way, Ruby still describes them all as 'cute'.
In other lunchtime news, later on in the week, we had a rather lengthy discussion about emails. You would never realize how diverse the subject is, unless you've had a proper chat about it. A particularly interesting sub-topic was email passwords. I think we can safely say that we explored everything that you wouldn't usually consciously think of when logging into your email account.
Of course, to end the week, ANT started another new trend on this blog: 'Toy Story pattern'. Master thought it was legendary, whilst ANT just replied with her confused 'What?! face'.

Weekly News Round-Up #3: 07/10/2012
This week has been a slightly uneventful week, but then again, it may be argued that your week is what you make of it, so here is my take on week commencing Monday 1st October 2012. ('Pinch, punch, first day of the month!' - Quote from ANT)
Once again, you may think it is a little sad that the only interesting thing that happened was assembly. Yes, on Wednesday, our year group came together as a whole, like we usually do, and sat down for a little chat in the Nasha Academy auditorium. However, this week, when I say a little chat, I mean quite a lengthy chat indeed on all things concerning drugs and alcohol. I'm sure you will all agree with me that it is a very serious topic and one that should not be over-looked. But I must admit that the presentation that was given was most tedious and the lovely women just rambled on a little. Here, I shall reinforce her message that you should not use illegal substances as there will be serious consequences.
Well, I didn't intend for it to end up a serious chat, but never mind. On to more light-hearted subjects, Master's been continuously obssessing over mermaid colour (which is the background to this blog). It has officially been added to the list of special colours, including midnight blue, lime green, sunshine yellow and crimson. Can you think of anymore awesome colours?
Until next week, have a good one :)

ANT's new pattern trend!
The things that ANT managed to come up with are legendary! Just today, she thought of a new pattern.
Story behind pattern:
Master looked up at the sky, which had miraculously turned from extremely cloudy to light blue with clouds dotted about. Everyone agrees that it is indeed a wonderful sight, but ANT decides to name it, 'Toy Story pattern' as it is similar to Andy's wallpaper!
Master loved this name so much that it has been decided that we change the blog to the same wallpaper. Hope you like it! :)

MouseMouseMonday #19: Music + Films
Hey guys!
So I haven't done one of these posts in a while, mostly because I haven't spotted a lot of interesting films or new music. But, after visiting the cinema yesterday with some of 'The Gang', I managed to see a few trailers for some cool up-coming movies.
First up...
'Taken 2'! We went to see this yesterday and I would say that, as a whole, we thought it was pretty good :)
Why not check out the trailer for yourself?
Second...
I thought I'd be sneaky and put this in, Ellie Goulding's new song, 'I Know You Care', for the film, 'Now Is Good', starring Dakota Fanning and Jeremy Irvine (you know, from 'War Horse'?)/ Check it out, I must admit I love the song and the movie looks beautiful.
Ellie Goulding's new album, 'Halcyon' is out today :)
And lastly for today...
Another film, 'Chasing Mavericks'! Based on a true story, this looks incredibly inspirational. Take a look of the trailer below:
'Chasing Mavericks' will be released in cinemas on 26th October 2012 :)
That's all for this week! Hope you enjoyed it :)

Weekly News Round-Up #2: 30/09/2012
Dang! Missed what happened last week? Do not fear :)
Sunday 30th September 2012
This week, we welcomed ANT back to the Academy with open arms! Yay! :)
In the middle of the week we were treated to the first years' efforts at singing ABBA songs in languages such as French, German and Spanish. I'm sorry to say this, but afterwards, ANT turned to Master and said, "Well they were all a bit dull this year, eh?" and as much as I wished to disagree, I couldn't helping thinking the same.
In other news, Mexx Bear and Master suffered memory loss when, on the walk back home from the Academy on Friday, they just couldn't remember what it was that they were talking about a mere 24 hours ago. They even went to such extreme measures as re-enacting the journey the previous day in an attrempt to jog their memories. They got pretty close to remembering, at the end of the walk they had managed to figure out the beginning and end of the conversation, but somehow not the middle. I think that it just goes to show how trivial and unimportant their conversations really are. Anyone got any methods of trying to remember things again? Well, there's something to think about for this week!
Until next week, have a good one :)

"Burning at the stake is always effective"
- PD teacher
Story behind quote:
Our Personal Development teacher made the mistake of saying a word that sounds like 'steak' in front of the class. Even though it is not the right context, our form still went crazy and burst into a harmony of different types of meat :)

Autumn Colour Trend for this blog!
So, after an incident that happened today in Form, Master has become obssessed with this particular colour.
Story behind this whole colour obssession:
In Form time this morning, Master complimented someone on their nail polish. It was like a metallic teal/turqoise/blue/green colour, in short, it was awesome! Obviously, you can see that I had trouble describing the colour to you, but ANT managed to come up with the perfect name for the colour: Mermaid colour!
And now, this colour shall rain down on this blog until Master has a new obssession! Hope you like it :)
Note: This background colour is the closest I can get to the actual colour that I'm trying to describe to you!

"That's quite a 'fair do's' answer"
- A.T.
Story behind quote:
ANT and Master were on their way to Form one morning. It just so happened that the people walking in front of them were seemingly talking about a sensitive subject. All ANT and Master heard was, "I don't really want to talk about it because it concerns the down-below area." Afterwards, ANT turned to Master and said, "That's quite a 'fair do's' answer". Make of it what you will ;p

Quote Week: October - Day 2
"Little bottle, holds a lot!"
- A.A.
Story behind quote:
At lunch time, ArwaChihuahua had an Actimel bottle (for those who don't know what Actimel is, it is a yoghurt brand. The bottle measure around about 10cm in height with a diameter of 2.5cm. For those who like a more visual representation, there is an image below)
But back to the point, because we are all very environmentally conscious, ArwaChihuahua decided to run an investigation into how much rubbish she could fit into it during lunch time. I think it managed to hold an apple core, multiple crisp wrappers, a Capri Sun pouch and other pieces of packaging. It was indeed very impressive and at one point Arwa made the joke, "Little bottle, holds a lot!", from some drinks advert.
